Family Life Radio held a REACH Concert with the Newsboys in Tucson. Thousands attended the concert where more than 250 people gave their lives to Christ and three tons of food was donated to the Gospel Rescue Mission.
“We’re here to shine light on a dark night,” stated Dr. Randy Carlson, President of Family Life Communications. In a night of music and the Gospel message, concert goers were given the opportunity to come forward, pray with volunteers and commit their lives to Christ.
“Rock & Roll used to be divisive,” said Newsboy drummer Duncan Phillips. “Now three generations of families connect (at concerts) and worship God together.” The one thing Phillips wants for each person in the audience is “to seek God for yourself. He’s your Father and wants to show Himself to you.”
Along with the Newsboys, the REACH concert featured Bread of Stone, Me in Motion and Seventh Day Slumber. It was held at the Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, Arizona.
