- Community Transformation Coordinator

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Hours: 40+(Full-Time, Exempt)
Job Summary:
This position is responsible to deepen our impact for Christ in the local community by developing and overseeing all station outreach, event, and key ministry partnership initiatives focused on community transformation.
No relocation assistance provided with this position.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements outreach programs and community drives in the local community to maxamize FLC’s impact for Christ
- Develops and maintains relationships with key community leaders to establish FLC ministry as the hub of the Christian community
- Establishes and maintains solid working relationships with both internal and external constituents
- Works in partnership with Marketing, Broadcasting and Production to ensure all CT initiated campaigns meet ministry standards
- Researches, develops and implements successful market impact expansion plans in order to markedly increase the station’s name recognition in each community through events and remote broadcasts
- Elevates the level of importance of prayer in support of the organizations’s mission and vision through various initiatives, including but not limited to, initiating/coordinating/leading special prayer events within and external to the organization
- Trains, manages and empowers volunteer team for day-to-day operations as well as during designated events where volunteers are needed
Non-Essential Functions
- Researches, develops, recommends, and manages budget to meet local community transformation needs· Manages and maintain certain key functions of the FLR website to position the station as the “hub”of the Christian Community
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven drive and ability to effectively negotiate
- Ability to effectively and professionally represent FLC; requires maturity, poise, and professionalism (includes presenting a professional appearance)
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills, with ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to plan and perform complex work in a fast paced work environment where only general policies or procedures are available, with ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain and update websites
- Strong PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proficient in internet research
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to write effective and compelling copy for event promotions in a clear and listener-focused manner
- Strong presentation skills
- Proven ability to set and manage an expense budget
- Physical ability to set up for events, remotes and promotions
Other
- Requires approximately 50 - 70% in-town travel and 15% out-of-town travel
- Must possess valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Proven self-motivated starter who sets and achieves personal objectives
- Spiritually mature Christian who believes the Bible to be God’s guiding map for life and ministry service
- Possess a firm understanding of God’s word and how to convey the message for encouragement
- Willingness to engage others in the ministry of prayer. Maintains integrity and personal professional code of ethics for the reputation of the ministry
Qualifications and Other Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Two (2) years experience working in promotions, marketing/sales and/or planning and implementing remotes and radio station promotions
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study
- Five (5) years experience in ministry and/or radio promotions
- Christian ministry experience· Experience using remote broadcast radio equipment
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
- Experience working with Six Sigma Quality Assurance Methodology
- Knowledge of & experience working with Situational Leadership II methodology
