Faith

Persecuted Church

Christ died for our sins.  The question is; are we willing to die for our faith? Doctor Joseph Patterson from Voice of the Martyrs says we need to be aware of what’s going on overseas. Many are killed and imprisoned for calling Jesus, their Savior. The Voice of the Martyrs Ministry has three goals. Educate the Church about active persecution. Have the Church join in prayer. The Church could donate. Voice of the Martyrs has a free newsletter that is eye opening and gives you names of people to pray for and countries where persecution is the most prevalent. Resistance Band Recall

If you got some workout resistance bands to help with the One Thing you’re working on, check the kind. Perfect Resistance Bands are being recalled because you can get hurt. The bands can detach from the mesh cloth loops. They can hurt the user or anyone close by. Click here to go to the Consumer Product Safety website.

Running for Clean Water

Obeying God’s call is what Steve Spear is doing as he embarks on a journey to run across America. In early April he will begin the 3200 mile trek from California to New York City. Spear’s goal is to raise $1.5 million for World Vision. The idea is to provide clean water for Kenyans. I would see some 7 year old girls and their moms carrying contaminated water 6 miles a day in 50 pound containers. I carried it with them. I thought this is reality for about a billion people on the planet. I just want to run some miles in order to take some miles from them so they can have clean water and hope can be reestablished.
