Do you know what that diet soda is doing to you? There have been studies that suggest a link between the drink and depression. Now, a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition says it can increase your risk for obesity and diabetes. Scientists at France’s National Institute of Health and Medical Research say consuming one 12oz drink, per week, raises your risk of type 2 diabetes, by 33%.
Millenials are the most Stressed in America. If you look at young people, ages 18-33, 50% are either unemployed or underemployed. Those numbers come from a survey taken by the American Psychological Association. Millenials also have a harder time coping with that kind of stress. Many of their parents sheltered them from financial responsibilities.
You don’t have to go overseas to learn Christian persecution is prevalent. A New Jersey teacher was fired for giving a student bible. Eric Buehrer from Gateways to Better Education says the NJ State Academic Standards say students are expected to learn the tenants of various world religions including Christianity in his history class.
