Bri has found hope for living

A New Outlook on Life

I’m 18 years old and come from a great family. But sometimes it feels like there’s nothing to hope for. I’ve been told my whole life how beautiful I am and that I should be a model. People comment on my physical appearance, and nobody sees the real “me.”

Recently I have been listening to Family Life Radio, and I wanted to say that it has completely changed my outlook on life. I had just gotten out of an abusive relationship and was devastated. I ended up in the hospital on numerous occasions, and I was completely going down the wrong road.

I can’t even express how my life has changed. I’m happier now, I’ve started hanging out with my friends again, and I know my limits on what I can do. I have faith in things that I never believed in before and just wish that I could help somebody in the ways I have been helped.

I want to simply say, “Thank you.” It’s because of people like you that I’m literally still alive.
