A 30-Day Challenge became a three-year commitment that changed Jennifer’s life.

Orchestrated by God

I have had a history with depression, and had been able to keep it manageable through counseling. But I was going through a real tough time with it, feeling real down and hopeless. I tuned in to the station and heard about Family Life Radio’s 30-Day Challenge.

I was so miserable that I was willing to do anything that might help. Up until this point, I didn’t listen to super negative music, but I wasn’t listening to uplifting music or music that focused on anything positive. I set my alarm clock to Family Life Radio, and I listened to it during my commute to and from work. At work, I listened. I was amazed!

I would listen to the teaching pastors and began to apply the things I was learning. I know that the songs were programmed long before they were played on the radio, but I would hear songs at just the right time for the need I had at the moment. I couldn’t believe it. I would be having a specific struggle and a song or sermon would speak directly to my need.

I would think, “Wow, God orchestrated this.” Many, many times that would happen, and I realized how much God truly loved me. That helped to pull me out of depression! A heartfelt 30-Day Challenge has turned into a three-year commitment that has turned my life around.
