I just wanted to thank God for how He has helped me. My only son, Michael, was murdered. He was only 19 years old. If it was not for God, I don’t know what I would have done. Michael was my youngest child and only son. He meant the world to me. I have forgiven the young man who shot him. My son was the only Christian in the house that night he was killed. I know God does not make mistakes. I am very heartbroken that my son is gone, but I would have rather it be him than one of the other young men who does not have Jesus as their personal Savior. I know I will see my son again. Pray for me because while I forgive, I am brokenhearted. Family Life Radio has helped me. I was especially comforted when “Life is not a Snapshot” by Josh Wilson cameout one month after my son was killed. I truly believe the Lord had that song written just for me. The lyrics to the song state: Would you dare, would you dare to believe that you still have a reason to sing ‘cause the pain you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that’s coming. If it wasn’t for God and Family Life Radio, I wouldn’t have made it.
