A Fresh Perspective
From Programming Director Adam Nash
Dear Listener,
I appreciate you and your faithful support of Family Life Radio. As a result of a “fresh perspective” regarding our programming format, as well as feedback I have received from you, there now are some changes in our broadcast schedule and messaging.
Our goal is to demonstrate the hope of Jesus Christ to every person. We consider it a privilege to share that on Family Life Radio through the music, stories, programs and resources for those seeking to do the next right One Thing. Of course, that includes providing help through living intentionally in Jesus Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why did you take out some of the afternoon programs?
During the past three years, I have monitored listening habits (conducted by a third party), listened to your feedback and discovered that most of you like more music than the teaching programs we’ve aired. Teaching programs are still important to FLR’s mission and we have strategically placed them at times of the day that you can sit down open your Bible and follow along. Also during our music hours we will be including more small teaching features like Route 66 with David Jeremiah and Insights with Chuck Swindoll.
Why is Intentional Living only 30 minutes long?
In 2012, our goal is to see more people living intentionally for Jesus Christ. Through this new and improved program, we will deliver a highly-energized and passionate program to equip people with the foundations of living intentionally. One of the ways to provide that energy is to shorten the length of the program and then re-air it earlier in the evening. In the coming months, you’ll hear more variety and listener interaction. However, Dr. Randy Carlson will still be on the program daily providing rich content to help you live that intentional life in Jesus Christ.
What happened to the Adventures in Odyssey program?
Through surveys and focus groups, I learned that listeners wanted more music in the evening instead of three hours of programs. In deciding which programs to air in the evening, I couldn’t find a suitable time for the daily Adventures in Odyssey. Since it is primarily a children’s program, airing it late in the evening was not an option. Therefore, a program that I love so much had to be dropped. However, you can still enjoy it on Saturdays. Visit the Adventures in Odyssey website for programs and podcasts.

How can I have an impact on decisions regarding which programs and music you play?
I encourage you to participate in these two ways:
1. You can e-mail me anytime using my Contact Form
2. You can join the Music Advisory Team
Your opinions are important to me and are significant in the programming decisions for the future. My desire is to help you experience the hope of Jesus Christ in every song and message you hear on Family Life Radio.
Thank you for being a part of our family,
Adam
