The typhoon that blew through the Philippines over the weekend was one of the worst to make landfall in recorded history.

“In some cases, the devastation has been total,” Filipino Secretary to the Cabinet Rene Almendras told reporters Monday.

This uncut video shows the damage in the Philippines from the typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan.

At least 2 million were affected by the powerful storm. Officials estimate more than 10,000 were killed. More than 600,000 were left homeless.

Rescue vehicles were being hampered by destruction to homes, businesses and government buildings. Trees and power lines were twisted in the 200 mph winds.
