Shawn Craig of Phillips, Craig and Dean practices Intentional Living by making every day count.
The group, which has sold 2 million-plus records with 18 singles reaching No. 1 since 1991, follow God’s plan for their lives and careers, Craig said.
“What did it feel like for Christ to know that He was going to die and face those last days, knowing that, and anticipating that, yet facing it with a lot of courage?” said Craig, pastor of the Crosspoint Church in St. Louis, Mo.
“Our lives, our churches and our families would look differently if we lived with that kind of purpose, that Intentional Living, making every day count. Not carrying grudges. That’s a big thing for me. Not making myself a person who lives for revenge. That’s the way Jesus was. If we can all do that, the world’s definitely going to see Jesus in us.”
Craig, who has won three GMA Dove Awards for his songs, said he listens to Christian music and programs on his car radio, including “Intentional Living with Dr. Randy Carlson.”
“I’m driving down the road, whether it’s on the way to the office or back home, and tune in and hear Randy Carlson. I hear the good comments, instruction, counsel and wisdom,” said Craig, who has a Masters of Divinity degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK.
“I thank God for Family Life Radio, for the ministry impact of ministries like Randy’s, for what God is doing through the airwaves.”
