Starting Over

But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.   Isaiah 43:1-2

Last year I had a really bad breakup and on New Year’s Eve I decided, ok, this is it. I’m going to start over. I started attending a new church, and a song came on the radio the other day that I’d never heard of. There was a scripture that came on with it, and I thought, alright Brandi here it is, it’s right in your face, it’s Isaiah 43. “Don’t be afraid I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called your name you’re mine.” I had strayed away from my faith and I had some anger. I thank God that everyday He’s there. He’s there for me. He paid a price for me and for my daughter. He paid a price for my family, and I thank you for your radio station. Your words and the music speak, and it’s just awesome.
