Michigan March Music Madness 2023 Contest Contest Rules

  1. To enter Michigan March Music Madness 2023 contest, the contestant must retrieve the March Music Madness tournament bracket posted in Family Life Radio Michigan Facebook group available beginning February 27, 2023. The contestant must then fill out and return the completed bracket by emailing with their name and phone number to michigan@flc.org by 11.59 pm March 12, 2023. 
  2. By entering, participants confirm they are 18 years of age or older when they enter the contest.
  3. Only one entry per person will be allowed.
  4. A person cannot enter on behalf of another person.
  5. The Prize is described as follows:
    1. 2 tickets to see Casting Crowns “The Healer Tour,” May 4, 2023 at Dow Event Center in Saginaw, MI.
    2. There will be only 1 prize awarded.
    3. Travel vouchers are not included; no cash will be given to the grand prize winner.
    4. Travel arrangements must be made by the winner.
    5. The estimated retail value of the prize is $95.00. The winner is responsible for all taxes associated with winning the prize.
    6. The prize is provided by Family Life Radio, and is non-transferable, cannot be redeemed in whole or in part for cash and no prize substitution is allowed.
    7. The winner must reside in the state of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Kansas, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee or Florida.
  6. Qualifying entries will be scored based on the results of multiple Facebook polls posted in the Family Life Radio Michigan Facebook group between March 13, 2023 and April 3, 2023.  Each poll represents a tournament bracket match up.  Poll winners will be determined by the highest number of votes after 24 hours of being active.  In the event of a tie, poll winners will be determined by seed position.  In the event of a seed position tie, poll winners will be determined by random selection.  Contestants will receive 1 point for each first round pick that is guessed correctly, 2 points for each second-round pick, 3 points for each third-round pick, etc. through the eighth round.  The contest winner is chosen by the highest number of points scored.  In the event of a tie between 2 or more contestants, the contest winner will be chosen by random selection. The winner will be announced on Facebook Live and notified through email on April 4th.  
  7. KFLR-FM, KFLT-FM, KGDP-FM, KJTA, KFLQ, KLFF, KWFL, KAMY, KFLB, KFLB-FM, KJTY, WJTY, WJTG, WJTF, WUGN, WUFL, WUFN, WUNN, WBFN, WJBP, Family Life Broadcasting, Inc., Family Life Broadcasting System, and Family Life Communications Incorporated. (“FLCI”) is not responsible for failure of the telephone, email or Internet system causing a contestant to lose the chance to participate.
  8. All entries become the property of FLCI and none will be returned.
  9. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. 
  10. FLCI, whose decision is final, will decide any questions concerning these rules and the administration of the contest. FLCI reserves the right to cancel, postpone or alter the administration of the prize to ensure safety during the Covid-19 pandemic.
  11. Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes the Winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name and image in on-air promotional announcements and other promotional FLCI material. 
  12. Employees of FLCI and its related ministries, or other entities involved in this promotion and their immediate family members (including spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren) are not eligible to enter this contest.
