Bloom Where You Are Planted

In the rich soil of God’s love, you can bloom beautifully where you are planted.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

– Romans 8:28 ESV

The rose bush was planted in the worst place, in the rocks of the desert on the west side of the house. In the heat of the summer, it requires shade using an umbrella or its leaves will turn brown and crispy. But when it blooms, the color is surprisingly gorgeous. Could it be that all the challenges it goes through make it more beautiful and colorful?

God provides all you need to grow and flourish wherever you are planted.

Maybe your life did not start off with the best of circumstances. Or maybe you have not landed in the best of situations. God sees you and your need for Him. He provides all you need to flourish and grow, no matter where that happens to be. Nothing is wasted.

As you look to honor God with your life, He will use everything you have walked through for His glory. You may have yet to see the beautiful things He will do as you surrender to Him and bloom.

Surrender your situation to God and ask Him to show you your next step in blooming for His glory. Even if it is difficult, take the next step He directs you to.
