Choose God’s Intentions Each Day

“Is this God’s will for my life?” You’ve probably asked yourself, or the Lord, that very question. Maybe you’re wondering about this right now.

All wisdom comes from the Lord, and so do common sense and understanding.
─ Proverbs 2:16 ESV

The fact that you desire to live according to God’s intentions is a very good sign. Most Christians don’t search for it enough—because for many believers, God’s will is something that seems obscure, far away or too difficult to easily perceive. But that’s a lie!

Wisdom, understanding and common sense are from God.

God’s intentions for whatever you’re facing today is very much within your reach. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” (ESV).

God has a wonderful purpose for your life. The key is to be able to tap into it and to put it into motion.

So how do you do that? It happens through the decisions you make daily. Our verse today says, “All wisdom comes from the Lord, and so do common sense and understanding.”

The actions we take every day shape our lives. God’s will is not something that happens to you or something that you feel. God’s will is something you do!
