Forever Safe in the Father’s Arms

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”

Forever Safe in the Father’s Arms

While loading the dishwasher, Pam heard her five- and seven-year-old daughters quarreling. She peered her head into the livingroom to see the older snatch a favorite baby doll from the arms of the younger. “I had her first,” she told her sister.

Instantly, they both felt Pam’s eyes on them. “Couldn’t you have just asked her if you could have a turn?” she asked the older one. After a teachable moment between mother and daughters, Pam turned to the kitchen and remembered how she was forever safe in her heavenly Father’s hands. She felt relief knowing no one and nothing could snatch her from Him.

Our verse today is Jesus’ words. He has promised life. When you receive Him, you will never die spiritually. His words bring a comforting promise that Satan can never do anything to remove you from His great love. He can never take away your eternal life with God. Your future is safe in His hands.
