Fully Loved—Right Now

Logan from CAIN told us he realized that as a parent, his love for his daughter wasn’t based on what she could do. He loved her simply because she was his. He said, “There’s not a thing you could do that would make me love you any less or any more than I do right now. I love you the maximum amount there is.”

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
– 1 John 3:1 NIV

That’s how God loves you. He calls you His child. His love for you is constant, steady, and complete. You don’t have to perform for it. You don’t have to earn it. You can rest in it.

Maybe you’ve felt like you need to earn God’s love or prove your worth? Maybe you think, If I were more consistent in prayer… If I didn’t mess up so much… If I had stronger faith… then God would be pleased with me. God loves you fully—right now. Not when you get your life together. Not when you finally overcome that struggle. He loves you as you are, not as you think you should be.

You are loved. Not because of what you do, but because of who you are—His child.

As you navigate the ups and downs of life—whether you feel like you’re getting it right or everything is falling apart—God’s heart toward you remains unchanged. He sees you. He delights in you. He is with you.

When you believe this, it frees you. You no longer live trying to win God’s approval; you live from a place of being fully loved. That’s a life of freedom and rest.

Today’s One Thing
Pray: “Father God, thank You for loving me with a perfect, unchanging love. I confess that I often try to earn Your approval or prove my worth. Help me to rest in the truth that I am Your child and that You love me fully right now. Teach me to live from that place of being loved, not striving to earn it. I receive Your love today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
