Give Voice to God’s Work in Your Life

When was the last time you told someone what God has done for you? Have you shared lately how He’s been at work in your life?

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble.

– Psalm 107:2 ESV

Our fast-paced, cram packed lives make it really easy to overlook the subtle ways God is moving in our lives. But when we take a moment to reflect, we realize that God’s fingerprints are all over our stories. Sharing these stories are acts of obedience and faith that can inspire and uplift others.

When we share how God is working in our lives, we become living examples of His grace and love.

God’s work in our lives demonstrates His ongoing faithfulness. Your story, no matter how ordinary it may seem to you, holds the power to encourage someone else. And each of these moments is a touchpoint of God’s presence in our lives.

By giving voice to these experiences, we do several things:

  • We glorify God. Sharing our experiences brings glory to God and acknowledges His sovereignty and goodness.
  • We strengthen our faith. Recounting God’s faithfulness reinforces our own faith and reminds us of His continued presence.
  • We encourage others. Our stories can provide hope and encouragement to those who may be walking through similar situations.

Reflect on how God is moving in your life and don’t be afraid to give voice to His wonderful works. Your story could be the light someone else needs today.

Today’s One Thing

What has God done in your life recently? Jot down a few instances where you’ve seen His hand at work. Then, look for an opportunity to share one of these stories with someone—a friend, a family member, or even a small group at church.
