God’s Love is Incomprehensible

How would you define the word incomprehensible? Think about God’s love—it’s exactly that. His love doesn’t waver, change, or depend on circumstances. It stays steady and unchanging, rooted in His unbreakable promises. When life shakes your confidence or fills you with doubt, hold fast to His truth: God loves you and longs for you to draw close to His unfailing love.

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
– Romans 8:38-39 ESV

Here are three simple ways to stay grounded in God’s love:

Immerse yourself in scripture.
God’s Word is your constant reminder that nothing—absolutely nothing—can separate you from His love. Romans 8:38-39 boldly declares that life’s trials or spiritual battles can never diminish His devotion to you. Let this truth refresh your soul.

Pray with honesty.
When you talk to God, be real. There’s no need to hold back—He already knows your thoughts. Pour out your fears, joys, and struggles. Honest prayer invites Him into your heart’s deepest places, reminding you that He is always near. As you pray, your focus shifts from the weight of your circumstances to the greatness of His love.

Worship with intention.
Worship draws your attention to who God is. When you sing praises or reflect on His goodness, you take your eyes off the storm and look to His steady presence. Worship transforms your heart, aligning it with the truth that God’s love is greater than anything you face.

Nothing can separate you from God’s love.

When you truly grasp the depth of God’s love, it changes everything. You no longer live to earn approval or fear rejection. Instead, you move boldly, fully known and fully loved. His love becomes your guide, shaping how you offer grace, forgive freely, and walk in humility.

No matter your challenges, God’s love for you remains unshaken. It isn’t tied to your performance or diminished by your failures. His love runs deeper, wider, and higher than you’ll ever fully understand. It is incomprehensible.
