Grace Will Always Find You
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.
─ Psalm 139:7-10 NKJV
Grace Will Always Find You
Grace is an unmerited, undeserved blessing. It’s that act of receiving a grand and gracious gift that you can never qualify to receive. You can’t do anything that would position you to deserve it. No matter how many good deeds you do; no matter how good you think you are, all have fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23).
God’s surpassing and rich grace is without measure. It’s beyond what our human thinking can truly comprehend. You can’t go anywhere that God’s grace can’t find you.
David’s words from today’s verse echo this. God is ever present; you can never be lost to His Spirit. In heaven or hell, God is there with you. His comforting presence and immeasurable grace are always available to bring you out and lead you along His path for your life.
You need His grace to navigate your life. When you find yourself struggling, like David did in Psalm 139 (and many other times in his life), rest assured that your destination is secure. Whatever you’re going through today, God is with you. Let His grace find you and give you strength.
Today’s One Thing
God’s grace is available to you. By His grace you are forgiven, and the power of sin is broken in your life. Talk to God right now, just as David did, and ask Him to pour His grace out on your life. Receive His grace as a gift, open it up and expect Him to pour out His grace in your heart today.
