Healing Through Brokenness and Humility
When you face seasons of struggle, it’s easy to feel as though your brokenness is too deep, too heavy, or too overwhelming for God to heal. But what if, in those moments of brokenness, you are actually positioned to receive the greatest outpouring of God’s grace and healing?
But he replied, “My gift of undeserved grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So if Christ keeps giving me his power, I will gladly brag about how weak I am.”
– 2 Corinthians 12:9 CEV
Corbin Phillips of Thrive Worship encountered God’s healing in a powerful way—through worship and humility. Corbin shares, “I battled anxiety, panic attacks for 19 years… and had a miraculous healing in a church service.”
No matter how long you’ve carried your burdens, God can heal your heart. In fact, when you bring your brokenness before Him in worship, He meets you there with grace. Often, it is in your lowest points that God’s power is most clearly revealed.
Your brokenness doesn’t disqualify you; instead, it allows God to work in ways you never imagined.
God works powerfully through your weakness. When you feel broken, it’s an invitation to experience the fullness of God’s strength. Your brokenness doesn’t disqualify you; instead, it allows God to work in ways you never imagined.
Like Corbin, you may have been struggling for years, wondering if healing will ever come. But through worship, surrender, and humility, God can do the impossible. Your brokenness is not too much for Him—it’s exactly where His grace flows most freely.
In your moments of brokenness, God’s strength is ready to shine through. Just as Corbin experienced miraculous healing, you too can find restoration as you bring your heart before Him in humility. Trust that God is working in your brokenness, and His healing is available to you.
Today’s One Thing
“Lord, I come before You in humility. I surrender my brokenness, my fears, and my anxiety to You. Thank You for Your promise that Your power is made perfect in my weakness. Pour Your Spirit out on me and bring healing to the deepest parts of my heart. I trust You, and I ask that You meet me in this season of brokenness with Your grace and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
