Health Restorer

“For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the LORD, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’”

Kayla, a 30-something mother of three young boys suffered a stroke. Few expect someone so young to experience something that takes away your ability to move, breathe and speak on your own. Kayla is a fighter and a believer. Every day she works hard to regain her health and trusts God to repair, renew and restore her. She has an amazing family and a community of believers standing with her and she’s gaining ground daily.

It’s easy to take your health for granted, until you suddenly find yourself without it. God’s provision is available to us throughout scripture. These Bible verses provide God’s guidelines for good physical, mental, and spiritual health as well as promises, like our verse today, that declares God will restore our health.

Let’s never forget to thank our Creator for our good health! For those suffering with health issues, it can be hard to understand, but we can still give God thanks for His promise of new, pain-free bodies someday.
