In God’s Eyes

In life’s journey, we often carry the weight of our past, letting our mistakes define us. But what if we could break free from this cycle?

And I praise you because of the wonderful way you created me. Everything you do is marvelous! Of this I have no doubt.

– Psalm 139:14 CEV

Christian Bevere said, “Your worth is not in your past. It’s in actually who God caused you to be.” Her words remind us that our identity isn’t tied to our past but is found in who God has created and called us to be.

You might feel like your past is a shadow that follows you, coloring your present and future. But remember, your mistakes are not the sum total of who you are. God sees beyond them. He sees the person He lovingly created, a person full of potential and worthy of love and grace.

Your worth is inherent, crafted by God’s own hands.

The Psalmist’s words affirm that our worth is inherent, crafted by God’s own hands. You, yes you, are a wonderful creation, irrespective of the paths you’ve walked or the mistakes you’ve made.

Your journey isn’t defined by what you’ve done, but by what God can and will do through you. Embrace this truth. Let it sink deep into your heart and mind. You are not defined by your past, but by God’s love and purpose for you.

God is with you, ready to rewrite your story with threads of grace, hope, and love. Embrace your true worth in Him, and step forward into the life He has planned for you, a life full of potential and purpose.

Today’s One Thing

Pray: “Lord, I confess that I often let my past mistakes define me. I struggle to see myself as You see me—loved, valued, and created with purpose. Help me to break free from the chains of my past, to embrace the truth that my worth is found in You. Teach me to see myself through Your eyes, as your fearfully and wonderfully made child. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
