Let’s Do It Together

As a solitary individual, you were never meant to navigate life alone. God designed you to collaborate with others. Everyone brings unique talents and plays an important role in achieving common goals and interests. Your God-given talents are meant to be shared. Although unique to you, they are designed for you to bring glory to God and to influence others for His kingdom.

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.

– Ecclesiastes 4:9 ESV

God designed you for community and interconnectedness. He knew that when you join with others, you can accomplish far more than you could individually. Collaboration creates a synergy, where strengths complement each other and weaknesses find support. In unity you find strength to triumph over adversity. Collaboration provides the best ideas and solutions.

The Bible is full of stories where a group, tribe or church needed to work together. Moses had Aaron by his side to speak on his behalf. Ruth found her destiny through the guidance of Naomi. The disciples of Jesus worked together, spreading the Good News to the ends of the earth. These stories exemplify the remarkable achievements that arise when people unite.

Collaboration brings God-given talents and gifts together to achieve more by working together.

Look around you and identify the unique gifts and talents each person brings to your groups. As you observe, embrace the differences you discover and begin to see the skills given by God to others that create new perspectives and innovative solutions. God designed each person differently but with the same passion for unity.

The process of collaborating can be exciting and takes patience, but when grace is extended, trust and mutual respect flourish. Your efforts can be inspiring as you contribute your talents and strengths and value the contributions of others.
