Light Shines Brightest in Darkness
Our world is filled with overwhelming darkness. From global crises to personal struggles, it’s easy to feel discouraged and wonder where God is in the midst of it all. But what if this darkness is actually an opportunity for God’s light to shine even brighter through you?
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
– Matthew 5:16 NIV
God doesn’t abandon His people in times of trouble. Instead, He uses these seasons to awaken hearts and ignite a new passion for Him. Just as the light of Christ shines brightest in the darkest places, you have the opportunity to be a beacon of hope and faith in a broken world.
“The darker it gets, the brighter the lights can shine.” – Brandon Lake
Brandon believes that revival is on the horizon, even if it doesn’t look like past movements. This new revival will be marked by a generation of believers who are “burning hot for the Lord,” rejecting lukewarm faith and embracing a passion for God. You can be part of this revival by standing firm in your faith, trusting God even when the world around you seems hopeless.
God uses people like you to bring heaven to earth, and it often starts with a simple willingness to let your light shine.
When things feel dark, your light—Christ’s light in you—can still shine brightly. You are called to be a reflection of God’s hope and love in a world that desperately needs it. Don’t be discouraged by the darkness around you. Instead, let it inspire you to shine even more boldly for Him.
Today’s One Thing
Declare today: I am the light of the world, and I will let my light shine brightly. No matter how dark things seem, I trust that God’s light will shine through me to bring hope and revival.
