Made Perfect in Him
“The power of God is made perfect in our weakness. It’s displayed in our vulnerability.” ~Matt Maher
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
– 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
Paul’s words in today’s verse speaks to the heart of embracing our limitations and relying on God’s strength. It invites you to recognize that in moments of weakness, God’s grace shines the brightest.
It’s in surrender that you can truly experience God’s power and grace in your life.
Consider your own experiences – times when you’ve felt inadequate, overwhelmed, or uncertain. Maybe you’re facing such a challenge right now. It’s precisely in these moments that God’s grace becomes most evident.
Surrendering to God amidst your vulnerabilities might feel daunting. It requires acknowledging that you don’t have all the answers and that you need God’s grace and strength. However, it’s in this act of surrender that you can truly experience God’s power and grace in your life.
As you meditate on this, allow yourself to be enveloped by the assurance that God’s grace is sufficient for you, regardless of the challenges you face. His strength becomes your stronghold, transforming your weaknesses into avenues of His grace and power.
Today’s One Thing
Pray: “Heavenly Father, in this moment, I come to You in all my vulnerability. I acknowledge my weaknesses and lay them before You. Thank You for Your promise that Your grace is sufficient for me and that Your power is made perfect in my weakness. Help me to rely not on my own strength but on Your unending grace. May Your strength be my guide and comfort, and in my weaknesses, may Your power be gloriously displayed. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
