Scripture Shapes Family Values
God’s Word shapes your family, as you allow it to guide you and your family through the ebb and flow of this life.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
– 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV
As you build your family, let the Word of God be the cornerstone. Through the vibrant stories, powerful teachings, and timeless truths of Scripture, you and your family will experience God’s love, compassion, integrity, and forgiveness. If you allow it, His truths can shape every interaction within your home and beyond.
When you look deeper into the Bible, you encounter God Himself, allowing His voice to guide your decisions, relationships, and how you love one another. It’s a call to live intentionally, embracing each moment as an opportunity to reflect the character of Jesus in all you say and do.
Let God’s Word come alive in you.
Consider how Jesus exemplified love, service, and sacrifice. His life is the ultimate template for how families can love unconditionally, serve one another in humility, and prioritize each other’s well-being over their own. In doing so, your home becomes a beacon of light, where the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—are taught and vibrantly alive and witnessed.
Let God’s Word challenge you, change you, and inspire you to build a legacy of faith that will echo through generations.
Today’s One Thing
Let this affirmation resonate in your heart: “Today, I choose to love others and make Scripture the foundation upon which my family stands and thrives.”
