The Decision for Peace

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

─ Isaiah 26:3 ESV

Intentional living is turning a God confident attitude into daily intentional decisions, goals and habits that are acted on by faith in God. We are promised if we keep our mind on God and trust Him, we can stay in His perfect peace. We can lose our peace by wavering back and forth and feeling like we can’t make a decision.

Perhaps you’ve asked questions like:

  • God, what would you have for me or what would you have me to do?
  • How can I please you in the different areas of my life?

Our lives should be about the decisions we make and then spending every day intentionally acting on those decisions. It’s not about perfection. It’s about asking, “Am I really where I know God wants me to be in terms of my life, my attitude, my mind, my thinking, my decisions and my actions?” And if not, these are the things that will help you.

Today’s One Thing

So, if you were to act on by faith and act on one thing for the next 30 days that would make the biggest difference in your life, what would that be? This week, make the decision, act on it and develop a habit that could transform your life.
