The One Searcher of Hearts

Nobody knows you like your Heavenly Father does! He searches your heart to lead you, counsel you, comfort you and even celebrate you through every situation you experience – both good and bad.

And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.

Sometimes the most difficult circumstances in your life cause you to search your heart, find strength to hold tight by faith and trust Him to show you the destiny you can’t see yet.

When you make time frequently to shut out the voices of the day, you discover God’s purpose and plans. He is the One Searcher of Hearts. No one knows the path He’s chosen for you quite like He does. He points to the truth and brings about the results He destined for you before the beginning of time.

Make time to shut out the voices of the day and listen closely to God’s purpose and plans.

If we look at today’s verse in the King James Version of the Bible, God says, “I, the Lord search the heart, I try the reins …” The “reins” of your heart refer to the innermost parts of the soul, where thoughts, imaginations and decisions formulate.

Today’s One Thing

Take a quiet moment right where you’re at –

1. 1. Set a timer for ten minutes on your phone.
   2. Start the timer and sit quietly, inviting God to search your heart.
   3. Ponder each thought as you allow Him to bring thoughts to your mind.
   4. Write down what He says.
