Two Decades…We Remember

Two decades have passed since the dreadful events of September 11, 2001 occurred. As a nation, we have kept our promise to never forget –

• those who lost their lives.
• those family members who lost loved ones.
• those who lost their health, wealth, sense of security and hope.
• the devastation and pain we experienced as a nation.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

─ Isaiah 40:31 NLT

When we face devastation and destruction that shakes us to the core, we still have hope in God.

Isaiah 40:31 encourages all who trust in the Lord will find new strength. We will once again soar high on wings like eagles. We will get up, walk again and eventually run without fainting or giving up.

As we look back and remember what happened twenty years ago, let’s give God thanks today for His continued grace and mercy on our nation.
