Unseen and Real
The fundamental force between mass and energy you get to experience every nano-second is gravity. As your cell phone drops (accidentally) from your hands, an automatic force pulls it down while you’re saying, “oh noooo” (long exaggeration intended). The interesting dilemma is gravity’s invisibility and undeniable force. So, do you ever question if this force is real?
For by him, all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
– Colossians 1:16 ESV
Gravity is a natural and dynamic force automatically accepted and acknowledged without question. Air (or oxygen) is another unseen force, magnificently powerful, that allows all physical life to exist.
Why is the realness of the Greatest Force and Almighty Power of the One – who created intangibles, the curvature of spacetime and the attraction between mass and energy – questioned? One of the many beauties of the Lord is that He cannot be placed in a box with a single definition of how He operates. He is more real than any intangible or tangible force.
Just because God is not seen does not mean He is not present.
While God is unseen, He loves you beyond any creative definition you attempt to define or understand. Like gravity on earth and within the solar system, God is always present. For God is the Alpha and Omega. He is the beginning and the end. He is the I Am. He is Jehovah, Abba, Yahweh, Almighty, Savior and Everlasting Father. He loves you beyond your grasp of understanding, and He has many dynamically wonderful things arranged for you to experience when you trust in Him with your entire heart.
Just because He is not seen does not mean He is not present. The effects of the Lord’s presence and actions surround you daily. God is unseen and very real. He is the spiritual force that created all things, including the answers to all your questions.
Today’s One Thing
Praise God for the unseen things He has given you as means for you to thrive. Thank Him for the unseen things that He has protected you from and kept you safe. Remember, God is real and present.
