You Are Chosen and Appointed

Has your confidence ever been rocked? Opportunities arise that seem beyond your ability, or change disrupts what feels safe. You may wonder if you can achieve your next venture and if all the puzzle pieces will align. But the truth is, you don’t stand on your own. God has chosen you. He appoints you for a purpose and equips you for the next opportunity.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
– John 15:16 ESV

Jesus spoke these words to His disciples, reminding them they weren’t the ones who made the first move—He did. He called them, set them apart, and sent them out to bear fruit that would last. That same truth applies to you. God has placed you exactly where you need to be, and He does not want or wait for you to figure everything out before He implements His plan. He has already prepared the path ahead and will supply what you need.

Your calling isn’t built on your feelings but on God’s faithfulness.

Being chosen by God doesn’t mean you’ll always feel strong. Some days, you may feel completely inadequate. But your calling isn’t built on your feelings but on His faithfulness. He doesn’t choose you because you are already equipped; He equips you because He has chosen you. The more you lean into that truth, the more you will thrive.

You don’t have to chase your purpose down. It’s already in motion because God set it in motion. Your objective is simple – trust Him, walk in obedience, and believe He will complete the good work He started in you. The steps ahead may feel uncertain, but your foundation is firm. Because of His divine intervention and calling, you will bear lasting fruit.

Today’s One Thing
Thank God for choosing you, and say, “I am chosen by God, appointed for His purpose, and equipped for every good work He has set before me. I will trust Him and walk in obedience.”
