You Can Trust Him in Uncertainty

Brandon Lake shared how, during a tough season of trying to have a child, he found himself wrestling with doubt and questioning God’s presence. “You start to… wonder like, okay, why isn’t this happening? And [asking] God, do you even care?”

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

If you’ve ever found yourself asking that same question, you’re not alone. It’s normal to feel frustrated or even distant from God during difficult times. But even in the waiting and uncertainty, God is working. Scripture encourages you to trust God’s plan, even when you can’t see it clearly.

Even in seasons of waiting, you can hold onto faith knowing that God’s promises never fail.

Trust doesn’t mean you won’t have doubts, but it does mean surrendering those doubts to God. God sees the bigger picture, and His timing is always perfect. When you choose to trust Him wholeheartedly, even in your uncertainty, He promises to guide your steps and make a way.

Brandon shared that while doubt crept in during their struggle to conceive, he still held onto faith. “I grew up with stories of miracles all around me… it’s not that I didn’t believe, but you start to have some doubts,” Brandon said.

If you’re struggling to trust God right now, remember that it’s okay to feel uncertain. What matters most is bringing those doubts to God and allowing Him to carry you through. God’s love and faithfulness are unwavering, and He will see you through every trial.
