Your Gift to God – the Choices You Make and Actions You Take

Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; no one can compare with You! If I should declare and speak of them, they are too many to be numbered.

─ Psalm 40:5 AMPC

Have you ever thought, There must be more to life for me than what I’m experiencing today? God intends for you to experience much more than just getting by or getting through another day. He purposed for your life to be abundantly more than what holds our attention on most days.

The psalmist gives us insight into God’s thoughts for us – they are wondrous and too many good things to even number (Psalm 40:5).

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God’s grace-filled and mercy-driven salvation is His intentional gift of love to you, should you choose to accept it. An intentional life of daily living for God is our gift of love back to Him.

How we live today can influence how tomorrow may turn out. While no one really controls all that much in life, we remain responsible for how we think, how we respond to our feelings and what we do each day. Intentional living has no room for the blame game – God loves us, we love Him and how we choose to live each day is our responsibility.

It’s only when you give your life as a gift back to Him that you can really live.
