Your Never-failing Father

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.

─ Psalm 62:5 NLT

Occasionally individuals you care about disappoint you, and from time to time you may even fall short of the values and standards you have set for yourself. As you take your hurt, embarrassment and shame to God, your loving Heavenly Father will never fail you.

Because of His unchangeable love for you, He lovingly accepts you as you are. He is always there when you need Him. He will never fail you. No matter how many times you fall, you can get back up as you continue to hope in Him.

Sometimes it takes everything within you to stop and turn your focus on your Father. But once you still your heart and head, you find the psalmist’s words from today’s verse ring true. “I am standing in absolute stillness, silent before the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me. Only God is my Savior, and he will not fail me” (Psalm 62:5 TPT).

“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you” (Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT).

Remember, every adversity you face is a chance to cultivate your trust in God and grow in faith. Hold fast to His promise to never fail you or forsake you. You belong to Him.

Today’s One Thing

Say this prayer today: Heavenly Father I choose to grow in my faith with each challenge I face. Give me wisdom and strength to believe You will never fail me. Today, I let go of all control and allow You to lead. I trust You to show me the way.
