Scottsdale, AZ – May 9, 2025 – North Scottsdale UMC and Dessert Mission UMC are honored to host An Evening with Nadia Bolz-Weber, as part of her Red State Revival Tour, on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at 11735 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
Renowned public theologian, author, and speaker Nadia Bolz-Weber brings her signature blend of humor, honesty, and hope to the stage in a night of connection, reflection, and revival. This unique tour aims to reclaim the Christian faith from the grip of nationalism and fear, and instead return to the radical teachings of humility, curiosity, mercy, and hope.
“This is not the moment to concede the Christian faith to nationalists,” says Bolz-Weber. “I want to gather with you, laugh with you, and sing with you. I want us to remind each other of what’s most important and least popular right now.”
The event invites attendees to step away from online noise and re-engage with faith and community in a live, embodied way. It’s a call to spiritual renewal—for the discouraged, the hopeful, the seekers, and the skeptics alike.
Evening Schedule:
5:45 PM – Doors open for Pop-Up Singing Practice
6:00–6:20 PM – Singing Practice with Nadia (all are welcome—no experience needed!)
6:30 PM – Doors open for Main Event
6:30–6:45 PM – Meet & Greet with Nadia at the front of the Sanctuary
7:00–8:30 PM – Main Event: An Evening with Nadia Bolz-Weber
