Grammy®-award-winning Christian music pioneer and best-selling author John Michael Talbot is bringing his “Lifetime of Music & Ministry” concert tour to Tucson.

Tickets are $25 for general admission and $50 for a VIP package that includes preferred seating, early admission to Talbot’s soundcheck and a CD.

Purchase Tickets: or call 520.447.8940.

Proceeds from this concert will benefit the preservation and maintenance of Mission San Xavier del Bac and the Youth Program at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.

The tour features music covering Talbot’s 50+ recordings over four decades. Talbot reflects, “I recently looked back with joy through all the years I have shared with my faithful fans – especially the music that first brought us together. Many say my music has been the ‘soundtrack of their journey of faith’. These events will be more of a prayer experience than a concert. Along with covering music from the beginning up to the most current recording ‘The Inner Room’, there will be stories and meditations throughout the evenings. The concert in Tucson will be presented as preparation for our Lenten journey.”

Talbot is one of the pioneering artists of what has become known as contemporary christian music. He is recognized as Catholic music’s most popular artist with multi-platinum sales and compositions published in hymnals throughout the world. His 55th album, “The Inner Room” was released September, 2016. A prolific best-selling author, Talbot’s 30th book, “Lessons from a Toubadour” was published in 2018.  He leads his very active ministry from the Little Portion Hermitage in Arkansas and St. Clare Monastery in Texas where he is the founder and minister general of the Brothers and Sisters of Charity.  His nominations and awards include a 1985 NARAS President’s Merit Award / Grammy® for “Song of the Poor” recorded for Famine Relief in Ethiopia. (Song was written by John Michael Talbot and recorded with Pat Boone, Debbie Boone, Russ Taff and others.)
