Home Plate 2013
04/27/2013 @ 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM UTC-7
Home Plate 2013 is coming to Comerica Park on Saturday, April 27 at 9:30 a.m., prior to the Detroit Tigers Game with the Atlanta Braves. Home Plate is an annual outreach event held at Comerica Park at which current and former members of the Detroit Tigers, along with other professional athletes, share about their careers as professional athletes and their faith in Jesus Christ. Attendees will hear from Ramon Santiago, Torii Hunter and Quintin Berry from the Tigers and Tim Hudson from the Braves, as well as Rod Allen, Willie Horton and Frank Tanana. Tickets are $29, and include the program, a meal coupon and tickets to the game. This is a great opportunity to introduce the Christian faith to non-believers, and to help young people realize that their faith can play a part in all areas of their lives, including sports.
