Celebrate Palm Sunday @ North Scottsdale United Methodist Church
North Scottsdale United Methodist Church invites the community to join them on Palm Sunday to celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Wave palms in a joyful procession and lift your heart to the vibrant sounds of our Children’s Kid’s of Grace Choir and the adult Hand Bell Choir. As they journey together into Holy Week, this service invites us to step into the story of Christ’s love and courage, preparing our hearts for the mystery of the cross and the promise of resurrection.
The Service will begin at 10am with the children’s procession of palms, followed by the voices of our Children’s Kid’s of Grace choir and Hand bell choir. The service will continue with a compelling sermon about the story of Jesus’ triumphant ride into Jerusalem.
Right after our Palm Sunday Service @ 11 AM, families are invited to join us for Communion #101—a fun, interactive way to explore the meaning of Communion together!
During Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, we remember the Last Supper, where Jesus shared this sacred meal with his disciples. To help families connect with these traditions, we’re hosting a hands-on event where kids and parents can learn about baking unleavened bread (aka Crepe Cooking Lesson), enjoy craft, song, games and receive a free “take-home” communion kit.
North Scottsdale United Methodist Church is dedicated to celebrating the love of God through Christ, offering traditional Sunday services at 10:00 a.m. NSUMC provides adults with weekly Bible studies, Sunday school, and choir opportunities, while also offering Sunday school classes and youth group activities for children of all ages. Throughout the year, NSUMC sponsors a variety of events, including retreats, holiday festivals, turn-around trips, Vacation Bible School, book studies, and mission trips.
