Run, Scream, & Run

Registration for Running Fit’s Run, Scream, Run 5K and 10K is now open. This race will take place at Wiard’s Cider Mill and Apple Orchard in Ypsilanti on Saturday, October 6, at 8:30 a.m. Runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels are invited to put on a costume and run or walk in the Freaky 5K, the Terrorizing 10K, or the Kids’ Cider Mill Mile – all for a good cause. Running Fit has partnered with the Michigan March of Dimes to improve the health of thousands of babies in Michigan.
Runners and walkers will enjoy running within the orchard and on all new asphalt roads and bike paths within Rolling Hills County Park. In addition to the run, all participants will receive discounts to Wiard’s attractions. Runners and their family members can cool down as they enjoy doughnuts, Wiard’s Country Fair, the Learning Barn, corn maze, playground, hayrides, petting zoo, and much more.
Awards will be given to overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K, as well as men’s and women’s awards in all age groups. All Kids’ Cider Mile participants will receive finisher medals. In addition, awards will be given for the top five best male and female costumes, as well as for the top 5 zombie division participants to cross the finish line.
