St. Joseph the Worker- Celebration of the Worker Breakfast

St. Joseph the Worker (SJW) will host its 7th annual Celebration of the Worker Breakfast event with the proceeds going to help empower individuals experiencing homelessness or hardship to find quality employment.

For over 30 years, SJW’s sole mission has been to assist economically deprived individuals become self-sufficient with the tools and support needed to secure quality employment. Through the event, the community has the opportunity to directly support this mission and the job seekers who rely on SJW. In 2020, SJW provided their services to over 5,000 individuals and connected 2,412 individuals with employment.
The event will be emceed by Jarrett Ransom, President & CEO of The Rayvan Group, and Rick DeBruhl, award-winning network television broadcaster and SJW board member. The event will also feature an expert Q&A session with Chris Camacho, Greater Phoenix Economic Council President and CEO. This year, SJW will honor Bank of America Arizona President Benito Almanza and local partner Copper State Bolt and Nut Co., who have given their time, talents and resources to further the SJW mission.

SJW connects people with jobs by partnering with local businesses that need a workforce, connecting clients directly to job openings for which they can be hired immediately. The nonprofit’s proven model provides one-on-one support, interview clothing, transportation, resume assistance, interview help, and more.
