Veterans Breakfast

FreeRetired Army Major General Albert B. Crawford will be the featured speaker for the Saturday, April 15, Veterans Breakfast sponsored by La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, Scottsdale.
The breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. and Crawford will speak at 9 a.m. The church is located at 6300 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale.
Crawford was born in Tucson, Ariz., and graduated from West Point in 1950. He was commander of the 12th Signal Group in Vietnam and later commanding general of the USA Electronics Command in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.
Crawford retired in 1976 and was well decorated for his 28 years of service. He earned an Army Distinguished Service medal and a Legion of Merit Award for his service in Vietnam, and a Legion of Merit Award in peacetime.
Crawford went on to earn a double master’s degree in electrical and industrial engineering from Stanford University.
