Yellowhorse Powwow Celebraton – Collegedale

$5 – $10This is annual Native American dance celebrating the life of a very wonderful giving Native American, Jimmy Yellowhorse. At the event you will see many dancers from across the country who come and compete for prizes. There will be two special musicians playing the native American flute and another you is a singer and songwriter. Special dances will take place during the weekend. These dances include a 25 member Aztec Dance Group out of Nashville TN and a ceremonial dance to pay tribute and honor those loved ones who have passed away this past year. This dance is only done by the southeastern tribal people.
The public will see various craft booths and demonstrators. There will be cuisine to satisfy any palette.
Please bring your chairs and smiling faces.
Plenty of level parking. ADA accessible as well.
