“He was doing drugs — meth and heroin and other stuff,” Gary said. “And I was told he was messing with the occult thing. I didn’t know what to do.”
The lifeline you offered Gary.
“I figured the best thing I could do was to call my pastor to have people start praying,” Gary said. “Then, I started playing Family Life Radio nonstop in my kitchen.”
“Michael lived with me, so he had to walk through the kitchen to get to his room,” he shared. “I knew that the devil — the spirit that was after him — wouldn’t like that Christian music.”
Scripture reminds us to “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). And that’s just what happened …
“Through the Christian music Michael heard day in and day out through Family Life Radio, Godgrabbed onto him!” Gary said.
A new path for Michael — thanks to YOU!
“It’s been a year now, and the transformation in Michael has been wonderful,” Gary shared.
Michael had been on a path toward destruction, but God reached out to him through Family Life Radio — music and content YOU help make possible!
Gary’s story continues on the next slide.
Gary is excited to report, “Today, Michael is working in the Church, and God is using him to help other people break free from addiction. He’s a good dad now, and his little daughter is so proud of him.”
When you give to Family Life Radio, God works through your generosity to transform lives like Gary’s and Michael’s. Thank you!
This Father’s Day, you can help more men like Gary and Michael.

A kind, compassionate and gregarious son of a pastor, Matty was raised in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State. Throughout his career, he has been extremely open about his own struggles with panic, depression and anxiety. His songs are colored by authentic truth and stark admissions of personal brokenness — joyous worship from an earnest young man who draws strength from Christ.
Today, Matty lives in Nashville with his wife, Brittany. In addition to having a solo career, he sings lead for the band Memphis May Fire. Both, he hopes, ultimately glorify God.
Tune in to Family Life Radio to hear Matty Mullins’ single, “No Hold on ME,” and other great songs of praise and worship.
“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).
Thank you, Albuquerque, New Mexico — for loving and encouraging our first responders on National First Responder Day!
“Cruiser Bags” Filled with Love
In honor of National First Responder Day, in partnership with Stand True 4 Blue, Family Life Radio asked listeners to donate bottled water, protein bars, energy drinks, beef jerky and gum to bless our Albuquerque Police Department with “Cruiser Bags.”
Since police are not able to eat meals while patrolling on their shifts, Family Life Radio collected 1,800 items to create 257 bags of goodies (each with a handwritten “Thank You” note) for our local police.
Thank you for honoring those who serve us so well with this thoughtful, practical gift!
Route 66 Prayer Parade
Every day, our first responders put their lives on the line as they serve to protect our communities. What better way to say thank you than to pray over these selfless heroes!
Family Life Radio asked listeners to participate in a Prayer Parade focusing on prayer for first responders, police, EMS and fire fighters. The prayer route circled Albuquerque and continued down our historic Route 66 drive. Plus, Family Life Radio broadcast the event virtually for those who couldn’t make it in person.
Thank you for coming together in unity for our city, community, state, nation and world!
YOU make it possible for Family Life Radio to be God’s mouthpiece to the world!
Every day, thousands of listeners tune in for content that …
• Encourages spiritual growth.
• Offers unending hope.
• Fosters healing and new life.
Yet, there are still so many hurting men, women and children who have yet to discover what God offers to those who seek Him! Will you help reach them?
Please GIVE TODAY to reach more people through Family Life Radio!
