The last three years have been really challenging. My Mother passed last year, went through a divorce, aunt and cousin passed away and last week my step daughter was murdered. I am also recovering from falling from a ladder 10 ft. I had a brain bleed, broken arm, orbital fractures, my eye had to be cut because of swelling. I've lost most of my hearing in my left ear. What can I say other than I, yes me alone, have broken my marriage and severely damaged my wife when I should have been protecting her. I have failed her so many times, I literally cannot even count the number of times I have failed and hurt her. Prayers please for my husband who is angry, depressd, irritated, unhappy, and just downright miserable. We have been married for 24 years, have three kids and genuinely love each other very much. We are both committed to this marriage but I feel like I am walking on thin ice at all times. I am anxious, often feeling it physically, when I know he's coming home or when I need to talk to him about something. I am so nervous about making him upset. He says no to everything - never up for anything fun, he snaps at all of us, sometimes completely blowing up and yelling, he hardly talks, smiles and never laughs. He sees no problem with this and if he acknowledges it, he blames the rest of us. I take on his feelings. 98% of how I feel is a result of how he feels. I know that's not how it should be - he is responsible for his own happiness. I always blame myself though and think "what do I need to do differently?" or "What have I done wrong to make this happen?" or "What is wrong with me?"

This morning my youngest, age 12, and I discussd praying for God to fill daddy with joy and my son said, "That's not dad. He's just not going to be joyful. That's not who he is." I know God can bring healing to my husband, to our family and our marriage and peace to our home. I trust in Him and am asking for His wisdom as I pray for a breakthrough. He is such a good man and I love him so much.

Please pray for me as I just had a thyroid bed ultrasound today due to persistant neck discomfort. Back in 2009 I had a thyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer and then again I had surgery on the thyroid bed in 2011 due to a reoccurance. Since that time I have had a couple of incidences with salivary glands plugging and infection. I was put on antibiotics to combat this. This recent discomfort has been going on for 3 weeks. I have been doing the recommended protocols for salivary gland issues, but it has not totally disapaited and there is still some residual pain in the center left side. Please pray that this is not a reoccurance of cancer. I pray that it is not life threatening or dangerous and that it will resolve safely and successfully. I have a 4 month old granddaughter( my first ) that I babysit 3 days a week. I ask that God keep me in good health so that I can help with her and be a good model of God's love for her. I want to make sure she is exposed to the love and care God gives us and reinforce the Christian model for her and her family. Her parents are hoping to get her christened in April thanks to a discussion I had with them about starting to plan for it. Praise God.
