I work at a college. We are severely understaffed due to the great resignation and retirements. My coworker just resigned as well leaving me with a new hire who is one week in and myself. Students are on campus and I’m trying to teach myself her position to get them what they need. Pray for wisdom guidance stress relief peace hope in the future moving forward that we will find a way to continue to make this work without losing students in the process.

My oldest daughter & family after living in CA for 10 yrs with our only grandkids (3), are moving to VA Sept. 5. I am so very sad as well as my middle daughter and son. They said they won’t be back for any holidays and maybe they’ll send their kids out to CA next summer for a few days. It is impossible for us to visit because my middle daughter has major medical problems & can’t travel at this time. I know they want to get out of CA & the problems with CA & they want us to move, but it’s impossible due to my elderly mom in law we care for and my husband’s job. Prayer for my daughters as they had a huge blow up. We’ll see them next week to say goodbye & I hope they can make amends.

My mom and dad let my youngest sister and daughter move in with them after my sister got a divorce. This has never been a problem before, it has happened more than once. Please pray for my marriage, and my husband. We've been married 15 years but after the birth of our final kiddo our marriage has begun to struggle deeply. I fell into post-partum depression and a very large rift came between us.
My husband has fallen away from the faith in most ways but saving face on Sunday mornings for our kids. But I feel his spiritual battle has been a large contributor to the struggle we're facing. Our situation is complex and there are many other heavy life burdens for both of us.

This may be the most odd prayer request but I really need emotional support right now because I can't talk to anyone about this & I really have to "get it out of my system" on paper. I'll try to keep it short:
After my husband's death 20 years ago I invested in gold coins. I went through many years of depression & anxiety where nothing seemed important to me...even the gold coins. Over a year ago I found that some of the coins were missing, taken out of their cases, but I had quite a few more than the empty black velvet boxes I found. Yesterday I finally felt strong enough to look deeper to make sure no more coins were missing. Turns out they are ALL missing...25 empty cases. Value probably $10-$30 (or more?...I can't find the paperwork because my life has been such a mess for so many years).
Suffering from mental illness where negative or upsetting memories churn over-&-over in my mind (even from 55 years ago) this could be a many-years problem for me.
Pray that I keep in mind that riches in earth are worthless & that God doesn't want me to allow myself to suffer endlessly because of a financial loss.

I have a coworker that is extremely difficult. She is getting her teacher's license through the LEAP program and has not taught before. However, she is a know-it-all and claims to be a Christian. She cusses daily, talks badly about her students and their parents, and is extremely upset when she does not win contests the principals do throughout the year. She has lied to the staff and our principals stating that she is being harassed and is not liked by the teachers on her team. These false accusations have caused the principal to talk to 3 of the teachers on the team, call us out, and tell us that we are liars. When we discuss the issues with the principal she refuses to believe anyone but her. The principal lets her bad behavior continue into this new year and even our union (NEA) will not do anything about her. I need lots of prayers and answers to my prayers before I break completely down. I have no one in my life because my husband passed away 2 years ago and my sons don't live in the same city or town. I can not leave the job because I need the income and the insurance because I have a rare disease and I have been teaching for 18 years. I don't want to have to leave until the Lord directs me to another calling he has for me. Please pray! I can't do this anymore. I have even gotten to the darkest place and want to just DIE because it would be much easier. Please I need lots of prayers. I’m struggling with my faith and I’m trying with one last prayer request before giving up my faith. I’ve been praying for literally years, at least ten for my daughter to get away from a very abusive ex husband. She left many years ago but the threats and stalking and verbal assault never stop. There’s no peace for her or the kids. She’s tried over and over to get a restraining orders but aside from an emergency one which only last for 30 days the court never will grant her request because they don’t have physical evidence of harm. We’ve been trying to build a case for years and every time we think we have enough they say it’s not. What the heck do they want to wait until it’s too late? Nothing helps it never ends. We have hours and hours of recordings he won’t threaten her when he’s on the phone because he knows it might be recorded so he’ll only do it in person when nobody can witness it. The kids are scared out of their mind because it’s getting worse. My family is on a roller coaster emotionally and physically and our prayers are never answered. And I don’t know why and I don’t want to keep praying.

I have no friends (social phobic), no wife, my life has a hellacious one of stagnation, loneliness, failure, and broken dreams for decades. I have been suffering financially paycheck to paycheck min wage jobs since high-school never making enough to save. Now, I'm 58, unemployed again, and my health/stamina is waning. I'm sooo dead dog tired all the time and have to take multiple naps and drink a ton of energy drinks. While looking for another min wage job I'm thinking to myself "How am I going to get through a 9/10 hour day at work when I'm so sickly?". I feel like I'm 99 when I'm only 58. I have barely any savings. I live in dangerous apartment complex where murder and hijackings occur. And they just raised the rent by 25 percent. Go figure. How am I going to afford it? At any rate, I just want to win the lottery, have enough to buy a home (American Dream), retire. I don't have the energy or the savings and I'm running out of steam. The well meaning but misinformed person who moderated (changed) my prayer on the prayer request said something like "God, help Michael to accept and be grateful for what he has". I'll bet that moderator probably has a wife, a house, money in the bank, good health, etc. I don't know why people who haven't walked in one's shoes or lived our life think they know better than us on what we need or want. Please don't read between the lines and think you are clever or wiser by changing the essence of my prayer. Just because I pray for money doesn't mean my prayer is wrong. I'm not shallow nor do I love money for the sake of money. Money to me means relief, freedom, stability, safety, open doors, ability to help others. I say the following with love: Will you please pray for what I ask? I want to win the lottery and get my health back. Right now I feel I'm one step above a virtual coma all the time. It's not a sin to pray for happiness or abundance or health. Jesus healed the sick, mind you. And Jesus said "I come that you have life and have it abundantly" so please don't argue with my prayer or change it. If you don't want to pray my prayer as it is then don't, but if you do, please pray "God, heal Mike and help him have a big miraculous financial winfall". Thank you, for your prayers. I'm grateful. Truly. Matthew 18:20-- " I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven".

I pray someone would prophesy and tell me my best friend will come back to Christ and our friendship would be healthy like the years he used his testimony to help me. He was saved and baptized but no longer believe s. Pray for faith as big as a mustard seed and that I would see miracles and answered prayers. Father God, sanctify Kyle and was him clean. That he would study and meditate on your word. Thank you Holy Spirit. For bringing understanding to his mind and a desire to obey and apply your word to his life. Thank you for accepting him and transforming his life to serve you and others.

Our family member, a 21 yr old young man, was hit by a drunk driver 8 days ago and is in the ICU with multiple internal injuries; (4 pelvic breaks, multiple rib, collapsed lung and brain). He is slowly doing better. The family is strong and faithful yet this is extremely hard for them right now. Please pray for them all during this time. Thank you. ️

Pray for Tiff. She’s a high school graduate struggling to keep her faith in Jesus. She is the only believer in her family and it’s tough.
