I am a 29 year old woman, who recently has been having reaccuring flashbacks of childhood trauma. I was molested from 5 yrs old to 14 yrs old by a family friend. By the grace of God I was saved when their job relocated them very far away. Still, to this day though, I have not been able to talk about it to any counselor, friend, or even my husband to whom I’ve been married for 7 years. I can’t even find the courage to tell my mother about it. I am so ashamed that it happened; there is this mark of disgrace associated with it that I feel I am branded with. So I have buried it for years and turned away from it, only for the memories to come bubbling back up last month. I feel that I am no longer strong enough to bury them again and I must face them. But I am so ashamed and I pray for the courage to do something about it. Forgiveness is not going to come easy. So this is my first step - asking for prayer.

There was a tragic accident that occurred yesterday on the 5th of September of 2018 that resulted in a 20 year old that passed away in Chesaning, Michigan at the intersection of Brady road and hemlock road. My husband is venturing in a new busineess. We have been in my family business of 40+ years due to my brother and I having our own medical issues. It's getting hard for us to work on a daily basis. My father of 91 years started this business and he placed us in our own catagories so there would be the least amount of problems. But now my husband will be going it alone in a welding repair business he has 35 years of experiance. It's scary to start again in our mid life, but we still have bills that need to be paid.I pray that he has a good start to his business. Please pray for the safety of two of my grandchildren, B. and O. The dad has been very abusive with B. to the point of him almost dying twice! Recently B had been very frightened to go to do his visit at his dad's home. To the point of begging our daughter to please not leave him there and crying and screaming to not be left in his dad's care. Our daughter was able to get a restraining order to keep the children from having to visit their dad for approximately a month. The protective order has been lifted so now B. has to spend all day Sunday and Monday at his dad's home. B. is 3 years old and O. is one year old so only he has to spend overnights there. The system does not protect these children due to the "law" and how it is not written for the protection of the children. Please pray for both their safety. Their father is cruel and abusive towards B. in particular so please pray that somehow these kids are protected from danger, illness, death and injury at the cruel and abusive behavior of their father.

Please pray for my elderly mom, she has had an MRI on her spine because of persistant back pain. They detected a growth on her spine that alarmed them. Please pray for healing and for the pain to be relieved and she would have peace. I'm at my wits end with this. I desperately need pray for my marriage. My husband and I have really good talks about his demons that haunt him and he understands he has a problem, but says he is not there yet. he has talked about AA meetings. Iv been dealing with alcohol in my marriage since I can remember and I am sooo very tired of it and Iv been praying for years that we can have a Godly marriage. he attends church with me but only if it doesn't interfere with his drink schedule. i feel like I'm running out of options with this. I am requesting prayer for my son and his new wife. My son loved and served The Lord at one time but he was not strong enough to withstand the fire and pain that came with his faith. He was brutally beaten while serving in the army for his faith in Christ and his denial of doing worldly things. These beatings caused spinal damage, head trauma and internal injuries he is still suffering from today.

He was told not to report his injuries but he did receive treatment while still in active duty. These injuries have caused permanent physical damage internally, to his brain and to his spine. He was treated while active and after he left the military and now the military has said they lost his records and are saying he cannot prove the injuries happened while serving.

He has lost his faith in God and his country. Just a couple of weeks ago he and his wife shared that they did not feel safe here in America anymore and they left for Peru. In his private text to me he said that if he died or took his own life to have his brain autopsied as his brain had been injured while in the military. He has the same injuries as jr. Seau who took his own life.

I don’t want to loose my son, but more than that I long for him to return to his faith in The Lord. Thank you for your prayers.

Hi. My 19 yo daughter who has mental health issues has become so irratic that I worry about her ability to parent her young infant son. Luckily. she has been entrusting him to my car the past week. Some moments, she seems to be back to her stable self and then her mood and actions quickly shift. My prayer is that her depression, anxiety, and detachment quickly rectify themselves before she puts herself or her son in harm's way. Things are spiraling quickly. My prayer is she turns her heart and situation over to God and voluntarily seeks out professional help before it is too late.

I am following up with family & friends. My sister Cheri was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer last week. She had been losing weight exceptionally fast & experiencing other symptoms that were concerning. After an MRI, Pet Scan & Liver biopsy she got the diagnosis. Of course family was devastated but Cheri has not skipped a beat. She has decided to face it & be good with it. However, she has a strong faith & has not conceded entirely.

Cheri is a vibrant, determined woman, who only a few months ago, was looking to buy a home in a small community in Arkansas, where she & her husband could enjoy their retirement, take walks together, work in the garden & just enjoy each other’s company. She has not given up hope.

Currently, she is still up & around. She is trying to eat as much as we can get her to eat, and she is still taking care of herself.

She has her husband’s love; her sibling’s love; her children’s love; her grandchildren’s love; her many nieces & nephews’ love; and a beautiful 3 year old great granddaughter’s love. Not to mention very loving cousins and many, many loving friends. If you asked her, she would tell you, “don’t count me out!” When you’re a fighter it’s always possible to beat the odds.

Cheri is very much loved & appreciated.
