My friend Steve was beaten up and now has a broken vertebrate in his neck and a cracked rib. He was raised in the Christian church and family. His family has abandoned his because of his alcoholism and marijuana use and homelessness from the past. He contacted me for the first time in many years. He has stated to me that he doesn't like organized churches. But has realized that God has saved him once again and has surrendered to HIM. He is very depressed and X-military and is not wanting to tell Drs. Only what they want to hear. He is opening up to me. I understand depression and homelessness I was there myself 14months. He doesn't know how to talk God. Please praying for him. He asked a Pastor that feeds the homeless to come and see him 2 weeks ago and the Pastor. Has not come he very upset.
