I recently began working with a small group of teens who have spent their lives being horribly abused, neglected, incarcerated, and addicted. My job is to educate them, but none have hope for a future, so education is not important to them. They come to school high, they are verbally abusive (I am the only female at the site), and their lack of hope saddens me. I pray constantly that God will show me how I can be of service to Him through these teens. Please pray that I can somehow break through.
