My 94 yr. old mother is in a nursing home. I have not been able to really be with her because of the facilities quarantine guidelines. The separation and loneliness she feels from this situation is killing her. She thinks I have completely abandoned her and that no one cares about her.. I live 1 hour from her and can’t go everyday. It does make me feel that I have abandoned her and the guilt is relentless.
