Thinking that my marriage is over and I am both heart broken and relieved. I love an alcoholic and he has been on self destruct for the last several years. As I have grown closer to God he has gone more into the bottle and I am at a loss for what to do anymore I have prayed, we have done counseling, and he has gone to rehab. I thought he was doing better but COVID hit and I caught him drinking several times and he did not admit to it so he is not facing the problem or being accountable so I don't think he wants to stop drinking. I can't be codependent on him anymore, and I can't continue to show my boys this level of dysfunction. I will need your strength to handle whatever you have in store for me in regard to this marriage.
